The new R-Line will be the range-topping trim option for the Tiguan Allspace and the T-Roc.
Volkswagen has announced a new top of the line R-Line trim option with the seven-seater Tiguan Allspace SUV and the T-Roc compact SUV for the European market. the R-Line will add styling and equipment upgrades to both models.
Available across a selection of engine and transmission options, the T-Roc R-Line will come with 19-inch ‘Suzuka’ alloy wheels, sports suspension, body-coloured roof spoiler, restyled front and rear bumpers, black wheel arch extensions, body-coloured side skirts. The interior will be equipped with a black roof liner, Carbon Flag upholstery, chrome R-Line door sill inserts and aluminium pedals.
As for the Tiguan AllSpace, the R-Line trim will be offered with 20-inch ‘Suzuka’ alloy wheels, sports suspension set-up with the optional Dynamic Chassis Control allowing the driver to be able to choose between Sport, Comfort or Normal suspension settings. Additionally, the Tiguan will get body-coloured roof spoiler, a front grille and rear diffuser finished in piano black. The cabin will come fitted with enhanced features like a black roof lining, ‘Race’ cloth upholstery and ‘San Remo’ microfibre inserts, ‘R-Line’ logo on front seat backrests, stainless steel pedals and unique ‘R-Line’ door sill protectors.
Volkswagen recently revealed the new Touareg, the brand’s flagship SUV, which is expected to reach dealerships internationally by the summer of 2018. However, near the end of the year, Volkswagen will also reveal their smallest SUV yet, the T-Cross which will sit below the T-Roc which will make it to showrooms globally by 2019.
