The Volkswagen T-Roc is a fun car with regard to both its design and driving dynamics. Coming to the drivetrain, while the 148bhp 1.5-litre engine of the T-Roc is impressive in its performance, it’s the chassis balance and suspension setup that makes the T-Roc a delight to throw around.

Volkswagen India claims that the T-Roc has received an overwhelming response in India and since its launch in March 2020, just before the lockdown, the first lot of T-Rocs has been sold out and bookings have been closed for now.

The Volkswagen T-Roc is the maker's take on the mid-size SUV segment. Where it does lose out some brownie points for its compact styling for the price, it makes up for it in certain aspects.

Volkswagen has today launched the all-new T-Roc mid-size SUV in India, at an introductory price of ₹19.99 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). The T-Roc sits just below the Tiguan Allspace in the product line-up.

The T-Roc will be VW's second product launch for 2020, preceded by the launch of the Tiguan Allspace (7-seater version of the Tiguan) in March. In VW's SUV hierarchy, the T-Roc sits just below the Tiguan/Tiguan Allspace.

Volkswagen has infused its T-Roc crossover with some racy genes. Naturally, they’re calling it the T-Roc R and, in fact, it sounds like a pretty quick crossover – well, at least on paper, it seems to have all the prerequisites.

Volkswagen has announced a new top of the line R-Line trim option with the seven-seater Tiguan Allspace SUV and the T-Roc compact SUV for the European market. the R-Line will add styling and equipment upgrades to both models.

Under the skin, the Volkswagen T-Roc is based on VW’s modular MQB platform. It is the first of the two all-new SUVs that VW plans to launch by 2019 globally. First shown in concept form at the Geneva Motor Show 2014, the VW T-Roc has finally matured into a consumer product.

Volkswagen have teased a video of their upcoming Golf based SUV called the T-Roc. To cater to the compact SUV market, Volkswagen revealed a teaser video which showed the upcoming T-Roc SUV testing in a camouflaged production form.
