The spontaneous power delivery of electric bikes makes them particularly appealing. When it comes to machines that are performance-oriented for enthusiasts, this is maybe the electric motorcycle's redeeming feature. However, the market for electric motorcycles today is still dominated by scooters and commuters with a utility focus, and enthusiast-driven bikes are still uncommon. The Chinese manufacturer Yadea has recently introduced one of the most intriguing electric commuters. One of the biggest producers of electric motorcycles in the world, Yadea creates various seated and standing versions in a range of styles and specifications. With the debut of the new F200 electric scooter, the firm is attempting to penetrate the European market. The spec sheet of the model appears interesting, even though the e-scooter hasn't yet been rolled out in the market and its price and availability details are still a secret.

Porsche and Yadea VF F200: Design

The Yadea F200 electric scooter was developed in collaboration with Porsche's design arm, which is the most unique aspect of the product. Additionally, the design lines are "inspired by the sculptural and elegant forms of sports cars," according to the company. A boxy but proportioned bodywork gives this scooter a pleasing appearance. A sleek, horizontal headlight placed in a crouching front apron draws attention to the fascia in particular.

Yadea VF F200: Key Details

Yadea claims that the F200 will be the most potent electric scooter in the L3e category, which includes electric scooters that perform similarly to their 125cc gas-driven counterparts. Performance must be limited to meet regulations, but electric motors have a crafty little trick under their sleeves. The F200 produces power continuously throughout the rev range as opposed to gas-powered bikes, which only do it once across the full rev range while having a maximum output of merely 14.7bhp, according to the manufacturer. The outcome is an offering with a greater amount of power than twice what is claimed on the specification sheet.

Yadea VF F200: Battery and Power Output

The Yadea F200 is comparable to the majority of 125cc petrol-powered scooters in other aspects. In contrast to motorbikes fuelled by petrol, the F200 electric scooter is capable of producing 14.7bhp (11kW) of power at its maximum speed. The F200 may, in fact, churn out up to double the power that is stated by the EV maker. Throughout the full rpm range, the e-scooter's 236Nm of peak torque is easily obtainable. The claimed battery range of the bike is 128-kilometre, and the top speed stands at 100km/h. Yadea also states that the F200 can accelerate from 0 to 48km/h in 2.5 seconds, which is quite impressive.
