Bajaj will launch the upcoming Chetak electric scooter on December 20 in India. Per spy shots, the scooter will have steel wheels, drum brakes, new chassis, and a conventional key setup.

The VLF Tennis electric scooter is available in India through Kolhapur-based KAW Veloce Motors, a company responsible for handling manufacturing and distribution in the country.

While specific details about the updated Bajaj Chetak are still under wraps, a significant improvement is anticipated in the form of increased under-seat storage.

River plans to expand its footprint in cities such as Chennai, Kochi, Coimbatore, Thiruvananthapuram, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Pune, and Nagpur, in the next few months, with an aspiration to ramp up its presence in 50+ cities by year-end. 

The VinFast Klara S is powered by a 4bhp (3kW) electric motor, which is hub-mounted. The scooter's top speed is 78km/h (48mph), while the company claims a range of 194 kilometres on a single charge.

The Bounce Infinity E1+ can also be purchased with the 'Battery-as-a-service' package, where customers can either buy the scooter without the battery and the charger, or can subscribe to its battery swapping network.

In terms of mechanical specifications, the River Indie is powered by a 4kWh IP67-rated battery pack with a claimed real-world range of 120-kilometre. The mid-mounted motor of the e-scooter brings about 9bhp of maximum power and 26Nm of peak torque.

The Simple Dot One electric scooter is equipped with a 3.7 kWh battery pack and is priced at Rs 1.4 lakh (ex-showroom). Initially, the introductory price for the early customers was Rs 1 lakh.
