At Auto Expo 2023, Hyundai Motor showcased the new Ioniq 6 EV in India. The Hyundai Ioniq 6 was unveiled globally in June 2022 and is the third electric vehicle manufactured by the brand globally, following the Kona EV and the Ioniq 5. It is built on the brand's E-GMP architecture. According to Hyundai, the vehicle would be among the most energy-efficient in the world in its most basic form. Hyundai also claims that with the smaller battery and 18-inch wheels, the EV will use less than 14kWh per 100 kilometres. With the single-motor arrangement and the larger 77.4kWh battery, the Ioniq 6 can travel up to 610 kilometres on a single charge, competing against the likes of the Tesla Model 3. We take a closer look.
