TVS Motor Company Posts 10% YoY Sales Growth in February; Sells 4.04 Lakh Units
TVS Motor Company's electric vehicle division continued its upward trajectory, recording an impressive 34 per cent growth.

TVS Motor Company recorded a significant boost in overall sales, reporting about 4.04 lakh units sold in February 2025 – marking a 10 per cent increase from the 3.68 lakh units sold in the same period last year. According to the TVS, its core two-wheeler segment grew by 10 per cent YoY, reaching approximately 3.92 lakh units. However, domestic sales saw a relatively modest 3 per cent rise, increasing from about 2.67 lakh units last February to 2.76 lakh units in the latest report. Scooter sales demonstrated particularly strong momentum, soaring by 24 per cent to more than 1.64 lakh units, while motorcycle sales increased by 5 per cent, reaching 1.93 lakh units compared to the previous year.

The electric vehicle division maintained its upward trajectory, registering an impressive 34 per cent growth. In February this year, the company sold 24,017 electric units, a notable jump from the 17,959 units sold in the same month last year.

Exports played a crucial role in driving overall growth, with overseas shipments surging by 26 per cent to 124,993 units. Notably, two-wheeler exports reached an all-time high, expanding by 28 per cent to approximately 1.16 lakh units compared to February last year.
Additionally, the three-wheeler segment posted solid gains, recording a 14 per cent increase in sales, as figures rose from 10,614 units a year earlier to 12,087 units in February 2025.
TVS Jupiter 110 is Now OBD2B-Compliant
TVS has introduced the updated Jupiter 110 at Rs 76,691 (ex-showroom). The 110cc commuter scooter is offered in four variants: Drum, Drum Alloy, Drum SXC, and Disc SXC. The company is on track to complete the transition of its entire vehicle lineup to OBD2B standards by the end of this month.
The OBD2B-compliant TVS range incorporates significant advancements in sensor technology and onboard diagnostics. This enhanced system employs sensors to track various parameters, including throttle response, air-fuel ratio, engine temperature, fuel levels, and engine speed. A sophisticated Engine Control Unit (ECU) continuously processes real-time data, comparing it against predefined benchmarks to ensure accurate monitoring and optimal performance. TVS states that this intelligent system enhances long-term efficiency and durability while ensuring eco-friendly operation throughout the vehicle’s lifespan.

The Jupiter retains its 113.3cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, producing 7.9bhp at 6,500rpm and a peak torque of 9.2Nm at 5,000rpm, which increases to 9.8Nm when iGo Assist is activated. Power is delivered smoothly through a CVT automatic transmission. Higher-end variants of the Jupiter 110 come equipped with a fully digital LCD instrument cluster, offering Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation via MapMyIndia.
