Toyota Kirloskar Motor posted a 41% increase in total sales, with 30,845 units sold in October this year, up from 21,879 units sold during the same month last year.

The limited edition of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor only comes with turbo-petrol models and is available until the end of October 2024.

The popular Toyota models eligible for significant discount offers include the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, the Hilux, the Glanza, and the recently launched Fronx-based, Taisor MPV. 

In India, the Taisor is priced between Rs Rs 7.74 lakh and Rs 13.04 lakh (both, ex-showroom). It competes with the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, the Kia Sonet, and the Mahindra XUV 3XO.

As of July, the Toyota Taisor has a waiting period of up to one month (4 weeks) starting on the booking date. The mentioned timeframe is constant across the country and will vary depending on factors like the colour option, variant, and region.

The ⁠Toyota Taisor has the same engine options as the Maruti Suzuki Fronx: 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, K-series petrol, and 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol.

Toyota has launched the Urban Cruiser Taisor at a starting price of Rs 7.74 lakh (ex-showroom). As it is a derivative of the Fronx, the Taisor comes as the fourth rebadged Toyota product to be based on a Maruti Suzuki model.
