The new Toyota Hilux is expected to retain the mild-hybrid 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel engine from the current model, with the addition of conventional petrol as well as diesel units available in select markets.

In the first seven months (January to July) of CY2024, Toyota sold 1,81,906 units, registering a growth of 46% over 1,24,282 units sold during the same period last year.
