Tata Motors has updated the Punch SUV's line-up for 2024, by increasing prices, axing ten variants, and adding three new variants. Read on to find details here:

The Punch is offered in both all-electric and ICE configurations. The 5-seater SUV was originally priced at Rs 6 lakh, but owing to a recent price hike, it is now available for between Rs 6.13 lakh and Rs 10.20 lakh. Prices are ex-showroom. 

The all-new Tata Punch.ev is scheduled to go on sale on January 17 in the country. While the price announcement is less than two days away, let's take a closer look at what we know so far:

The Tata Punch is offered in 4 different trim levels – Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative, with prices ranging from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 9.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

As of now, the Tata Punch features a BS6 Phase-II compliant 1.2-litre petrol unit, a 7.0-inch touchscreen system, automatic air conditioning, a semi-digital instrument cluster, connected car technology, dual front airbags, a reverse camera, etc.

The Tata Punch EV has been spotted testing once again ahead of the launch in India. Upon the market introduction, the electric variant of the Punch will lock horns with the Citroen eC3 in the country.

The Maruti Suzuki Baleno was the top-selling car in May 2023 with sales of nearly 19,000 units. It was followed by the Swift and the WagonR, with sales of 17,346 units and 16,258 units, respectively.
