The 2023 Porsche Cayenne, Cayenne Coupe finally made their way to the Indian market. Price for the Cayenne facelift starts at Rs 1.36 crore (ex-showroom). The Porsche Cayenne Coupe facelift, on the other hand, will begin at Rs 1.42 crore (ex-showroom).

When you look at the Porsche Cayenne Coupé, you are most likely to think of fast highways, twisty winding roads, and long journeys. But what happens when you take the Cayenne Coupé off-road over rocky terrain or dune bashing in the sand?

The upcoming performance-focused Cayenne Coupe lapped the 21-kilometre Nurburgring Nordschleife circuit in just 7:38.925 minutes – that’s 3.3s quicker than the previous record-holder, the Audi RS Q8

We get behind the wheel of the Porsche Cayenne Coupe to find the answers to two questions. Firstly, does the Cayenne Coupe flaunt the quintessential Porsche mannerisms? And secondly, is it practical enough to replace the standard Cayenne?

We went off-roading with the tall and butch MG Gloster to see if its 4x4 capabilities are any better than its similarly-priced rivals, all of which happen to be a great tool for off-roading.

Priced at Rs 1.31 crore for the standard and Rs 1.98 crore for the Turbo derivative (both prices are ex-showroom), the Cayenne Coupé is available in two engine options – V6 and V8.

Taking the Coupe route, the Porsche Cayenne Coupe sure looks stunning but loses a bit of its practicality. It borrows the same heart as the standard trim – a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6.

It seems that the Cayenne portfolio is all set to grow by the end of 2019 as Porsche has started winter testing mules of the Cayenne Coupe. It is speculated that it will make its international debut in Q4 2019.
