Following its world debut, Kawasaki is preparing to launch the 2025 Ninja 650 in India. It is anticipated to be released in our market around the festive season. Due to dealer concerns about waning interest in the current model, an earlier debut of the 2025 version was decided upon in an attempt to rekindle enthusiasm and boost sales. Two new paint jobs, Candy Steel Furnace Orange/Metallic Spark Black/Metallic Royal Purple and Metallic Matte Old School Green/Metallic Spark Black, are part of the 2025 Ninja 650's updated aesthetics. The manufacturer also rolled out the KRT Edition, which will adorn the famous Kawasaki Racing Team livery and logos. Here's what the upcoming bike might have in store for biking enthusiasts.

2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650: Engine Specs and Hardware
Coming to the mechanical aspect, the 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650 has the same 649cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, which belts out 67.3bhp of maximum power at 8,000rpm and 65.76Nm of peak torque at 6,700rpm. The unit is coupled to a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. Besides, the rider can choose between three riding modes.
Kawasaki's frame is made of high-tensile strength steel trellis, supported by monoshock at the back and 41mm telescopic front forks. The bike has a single 220mm petal disc brake with a single-piston calliper in the back and twin 300mm dual petal disc brakes with dual-piston callipers up front to bring it to a halt.
2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650: Feature List
The feature set of the 2025 Ninja 650 comprises a 4.3-inch TFT colour display that provides all essential details to the rider. It also offers smartphone connectivity and full LED lighting. Safety features come in the form of traction control and a dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS).
There are two settings available for the traction control itself. While Mode 2 will activate significantly earlier whenever it senses excessive wheel spin while cutting engine output for increased grip, Mode 1 is the least intrusive and helps with cornering. According to the manufacturer, the second mode is especially useful when riding during the rain. It is possible to disable the KRTC feature as well.
2025 Kawasaki Ninja 650: Expected Prices
With this new model, the Japanese automaker plans to increase the price of the Ninja 650. The bike's present cost stands at Rs 7.16 lakh. So, we can anticipate the 2025 model to cost roughly Rs 7.35 lakh. Both mentioned prices are ex-showroom.
