Force Gurkha Joins Indian Defence Forces with Order of Over 2,900 Units
The Force Gurkha comes in two versions: a 3-door and a 5-door. It runs on a 2.6-litre diesel engine that produces 138bhp of power.

The Force Gurkha SUV will now be officially inducted into the Indian Defence Forces fleet, marking a significant milestone for the brand. Force has been aiding the military since 2018 with its Gurkha-based Light Strike Vehicle (LSV), and now the Indian forces have ordered 2,978 units of the Gurkha SUV, which will be delivered in several phases. The vehicle's impressive off-road specifications, a 700mm water-wading capacity, and class-leading departure and ramp-over angles could be some of the factors behind its selection by the armed forces. Let’s take a closer look at some key specifications of the Gurkha SUV.
