MG Cyberster, M9 Bookings Commence in India Ahead of Upcoming Launch
Though the official launch dates are yet to be confirmed, deliveries for the MG Cyberster and the M9 are expected to start in the second quarter of this year.

JSW MG Motor India has opened the order books for two of its highly anticipated models in India—the Cyberster and the M9—with a token booking amount of Rs 51,000 each. Although specific launch dates have yet to be revealed, deliveries for both cars are expected to begin in the second quarter of this year. The Cyberster and M9 will be available at MG Select dealerships across 13 major cities, such as Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, and Chennai. Let’s take a closer look at some key specifications of these two upcoming Kia models in India.

MG Cyberster, M9: Powertrain
The Cyberster uses an all-wheel-drive system with two electric motors (one per axle) and a 77kWh battery. It delivers 503bhp and 725Nm, with a WLTP-rated range of 443 kilometres. Drivers can choose from Comfort, Custom, Sport, and Track modes. The suspension setup includes front double wishbones and a rear five-link independent design. On the other hand, the M9 EV features a 90kWh battery that offers a WLTP-certified driving range of 430 kilometres on a full charge. It has a front-mounted motor, delivering 241bhp and 350Nm, enabling front-wheel-drive capabilities.
MG Cyberster, M9: Features
The MG Cyberster comes with several premium features, including Android Auto, wraparound digital displays, and ambient lighting. It offers dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, and a vertically positioned infotainment panel with seamless Apple CarPlay integration. Other highlights include paddle shifters, six-way electrically adjustable ventilated seats, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a retractable roof, and a high-quality eight-speaker Bose sound system.

In terms of safety, the Cyberster has multiple airbags, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), a tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control (ESC), and a 360-degree camera.
Meanwhile, the M9 features a 7.0-inch fully digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, offering seamless connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with rear entertainment screens. In the top variant, passengers enjoy second-row ottoman seats with eight massage settings, folding tables, and intuitive touchscreen controls.

Other amenities include an air purifier, three-zone automatic climate control, and customisable 64-colour ambient lighting.
