The iconic Mystichrome shade for the new Ford Mustang now costs USD 15,995 (roughly Rs 13.39 lakh), consistent with the rarity and skill required to create this distinctive paint finish.

Ford first became aware of the potential problem on April 20 this year. The issue was detected after the company investigated allegations of smoke coming out of the hood of 2024 Mustangs fitted with manual transmissions.

The Ford Mustang 60th Anniversary package is only available in GT Premium trim. It comes equipped with a 5.0-litre Coyote V8 engine, mated to a six-speed manual or a ten-speed automatic transmission. 

RTR Vehicles had previously posted a photo of the Mustang RTR Spec 2's top grille on Instagram, showcasing its mesh design and trapezoidal LED lighting. This is only a taste of the new design; further external updates are forthcoming.

The Ford Mustang GT has now been elevated to a three-star safety rating by Euro NCAP. Earlier in January this year, the European-spec Ford Mustang GT (which is the same spec sold in the Indian market) had undergone Euro NCAP's safety crash test.
