Bharat Mobility Expo 2025: Bookings for the Mini Cooper S JCW are underway, while deliveries are scheduled to commence in April.

autoX Awards 2024: With its 2.0-litre turbo petrol sending just over 200 horses and 300Nm of torque to the front wheels, the Mini Cooper S is quite fast. It can clock 0 – 100km/h in about 6.5 seconds, so it does pack a punch.

The 2025Mini JCW Hatchback can accelerate from a halt to 100km/h in 6.1 seconds, while the JCW Convertible takes 6.4 seconds to do the same.

The fourth-generation Mini Cooper S succeeds its predecessor, while the Countryman EV marks Mini's debut of an all-electric vehicle in the country. Built on the BMW iX1 platform, the Countryman EV incorporates many design elements from the Cooper S.

The second half of the year is likely to be busy with several noteworthy car launches. For now, let's see which models are set to go on sale in India in July 2024.

The BMW 5 Series LWB is slated to replace the previous 5 Series as well as the 6 Series GT, while the Mini Cooper S and Countryman Electric will be launched as new-generation models.

While the fourth-generation Mini Cooper S will replace the outgoing model (Rs 42.70 lakh, ex-showroom), the launch of the Countryman E will mark the arrival of the third-generation, all-electric model, and for the first time, it will be offered in the country.

Similar to the 3-Door model revealed last year, the design of the 2025 Mini Cooper 5 Door is quite different but still has the iconic Mini look and silhouette.

The new-generation Mini Cooper S with a petrol powertrain goes on sale first, with the all-electric Cooper EV to follow at a later date. As for the Countryman, expect Mini to offer a rear-wheel-drive setup.
