The recall by Mercedes-Benz comes after an internal investigation prompted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), a US-based non-profit organisation – which rates vehicles according to their headlamp performance.

The Mercedes-AMG GLC 63 S E Performance and the GLC 43 have been revealed in a sloped-roof coupe format. The GLC 43 is a 2024 model, while the 63 S E Performance will go on sale as a 2025 model.

The 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 will go on sale first, followed by the GLC 63 S E Performance as a 2025 model. However, there is no official communication with respect to their pricing.

Straight off the bat, the updated GLC 43 AMG models come across as toned-down versions of the more hardcore GLC 63. The signature 'AMG' elements include the new, vertical multi-slat radiator grille, a chiselled & more defined front apron and a reworked bumper design (over the standard GLC).
