Mahindra XEV 9e Pack One, Pack Two, Pack Three Select and More Variants Explained: What's Different?
The Mahindra XEV 9e, developed on the INGLO platform tailored for battery electric vehicles (BEVs), comes with a choice of two battery packs: 59kWh and 79kWh.

Mahindra has announced the pricing structure for the XEV 9e, ahead of the booking window opening on February 14. The SUV is priced between Rs 21.90 lakh and Rs 30.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Customers opting for a home charging solution will need to pay Rs 50,000 for the 7.2kW charger or Rs 75,000 for the 11kW version. The model can be had in four variants: Pack One, Pack Two, Pack Three Select, and Pack Three. Available in eight exterior paint jobs, the options include Gold Dawn, Stealth Black, Tango Red, Desert Myst, Deep Forest, Everest White, Nebula Blue, and Ruby Velvet. Mahindra XEV 9e: Battery and Range
Built on the INGLO platform designed specifically for battery electric vehicles (BEVs), the XEV 9e offers two battery pack options: 59kWh and 79kWh, along with two motor choices: 228bhp and 282bhp. The 59kWh battery is paired with the 228bhp motor, while the 79kWh battery is coupled to the 282bhp motor. Despite the difference in power output, both configurations deliver a torque of 380Nm.

The top-tier 79kWh model boasts a certified range of 656 km. The SUV comes with rear-wheel drive (RWD), delivering varying performance levels to suit different driving needs. With a 140kW DC fast charger, the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in about 20 minutes.

In terms of market rivalry, the XEV 9e competes with the Hyundai Ioniq 5, BYD Atto 3, and the upcoming Tata Harrier EV.
