Mahindra Scorpio Classic

The waiting period for the Mahindra Scorpio N's entry-level Z2 petrol and diesel models has decreased to just one month, a significant drop from the over five-month wait seen a few months ago.

Mahindra & Mahindra has silently updated the colour scheme of the Thar and the Scorpio Classic with a new exterior tone. The automaker's signature paint job dubbed, Napoli Black, has been replaced by this new colour option called Stealth Black.

Mahindra has added a new S5 variant to its Scorpio line of models. The mid-spec S5 will fill the gap between the base and top-spec variations of the SUV due to the significant price difference between the two variants.

The waiting period for the updated Scorpio Classic SUV has increased to more than seven months in India. In April 2023, the Mahindra Scorpio SUV sales increased significantly, and the Classic SUV was a part of the achievement.

The prices of the Mahindra Scorpio Classic have been increased by the homegrown automaker in India. Mahindra has also updated the engine of the model to meet the new RDE and BS6 Phase 2 emission norms.

The Mahindra Scorpio Classic gets a few minor cosmetic updates over the previous-gen Scorpio but, more importantly, gets major mechanical updates and a more streamlined variant lineup.

If you were a fan of the old Scorpio, the new Scorpio Classic 2022 is for you! It retains the styling of the last-gen Scorpio, but brings with it the second-gen mHawk engine and a new multilink rear suspension and double wishbones at the front.

The Mahindra Scorpio Classic brings a new engine, major updates to the suspension and more features, to the design and styling of the last-gen Scorpio. Mahindra will offer the Scorpio Classic in two variants, with 7 -and 9-seater configurations and there's no 4WD on offer.

After the Scorpio-N, Mahindra is all set to debut the reworked Scorpio Classic in India. The car will be placed a rung lower to the Scorpio-N and will come with a sole diesel engine.
