Mahindra Sales Reports

Mahindra delivered impressive growth across its automotive and farm equipment divisions in December. Total automotive sales surged to 69,768 units, achieving a 16% YoY increase.

Last month, Mahindra sold 51,062 units domestically in the utility vehicles (UV) category, up from 41,267 units in September 2023, marking a 24% YoY rise.

According to Mahindra, its domestic passenger vehicle (PV) sales increased by 16% to 43,277 units last month from 37,270 units in August last year.

Mahindra has released its sales figures for the month of May. The automaker sold 43,218 units in the domestic market, marking a 31.42% YoY increase.

Mahindra recently introduced the XUV 3XO in the Indian market, with prices ranging between Rs 7.49 lakh and Rs 15.49 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).

Mahindra is well-known for having a robust lineup of vehicles in the nation's utility vehicle market, including the Bolero Neo, XUV300, XUV700, Scorpio N, and the Scorpio Classic.

In February 2024, Mahindra sold a total of 72,923 units, marking a notable 24% year-on-year growth. The new Mahindra Thar Earth Edition was also introduced to our market in the previous month.

One of Mahindra's top sellers, the Scorpio-N, has crossed the one lakh-unit production milestone in less than two years. The SUV is priced from Rs. 13.60 lakh to Rs. 24.54 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Mahindra's overall sales for December stood at 60,188 units (including exports), representing a 6 per cent growth. Furthermore, the manufacturer sold 35,171 units in the domestic market when it comes to the Utility Vehicles segment, reflecting a 24 per cent rise in sales.

Mahindra says that its SUVs, such as the Thar, XUV300, Scorpio-N, and XUV700, captured strong demand during the festival season; however, it did blame supply chain challenges for hindering sales.
