Both these “mods” should provide a great deal of peace of mind and ensure that the BMW M2 looks and feels brand new, hopefully, for a long time to come.

The BMW M2 lapped the technical part of the Buddha International Circuit at virtually the same pace as the Ferrari Roma (just two-and-a-half tenths of a second slower to be precise).

I have to admit that there was also a bit of trepidation going into the M2’s inaugural day at the track. What if it wasn’t everything I expected it to be – what if it became a case of ‘never meet your heroes’?

BMW has launched the new M2 at a starting price of Rs 98 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The new-gen model is available in five exterior paint options, including Alpine White, Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, Toronto Red, and Zandvoort Blue.

I’m sure the purists among you must be going all purple-faced after reading this and probably want me to be crucified immediately. How can I say something as blasphemous as that? How can anyone be a real car enthusiast if they don’t like manual transmissions?

German luxury automaker BMW has officially unveiled the second-generation M2. The car now has a brand-new design with both manual and automatic gearboxes and is set to launch in the international market by April 2023.

BMW has announced that the upcoming M2 will be the final pure-ICE M car. The car is expected to debut sometime in the coming few months. Like its predecessors, the M2 will be heavily based on the 2-series sedan.
