Lance Stroll

Aston Martin confirmed that Lance Stroll will continue to race with the team until the next set of technical regulations in 2026. He will team up with Fernando Alonso, who inked a new contract in April to stay at Aston Martin until at least the end of 2026.

Aston Martin's Team Principal, Mike Krack, acknowledges their team currently holds the fifth-fastest vehicle on the grid. Alonso challenged Red Bull early on, but Aston Martin's performance sharply declined after Austria.

With his new position as Vice President at Alpine Motorsports, Frenchman Bruno Famin oversees the company's Formula 1 Team and other racing endeavours. As a result, Alpine F1 Team Principal Otmar Szafnauer will now report to Famin rather than to CEO Laurent Rossi.
