Lamborghini Temerario, the much-anticipated successor to the Huracan, has had its first official images leaked online. This revelation comes just hours before its official unveiling at Monterey Car Week

The Lamborghini Huracan replacement will use a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine and three electric motors, as part of Lamborghini's effort to electrify its line-up by 2024. 

The Lamborghini Huracan successor will premiere on August 16 during the Monterey Car Week. It is believed to be called the Temerario.

The biggest change in the upcoming Lamborghini Huracan Successor is it will now house a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 instead of the brand's venerable 5.2-litre naturally aspirated (NA) V10 unit. 

The new V8 unit from Lamborghini will be rare in the world of road-going super sports cars since it will deliver 789bhp of maximum power between 9,000 and 9,750rpm, achieving a peak engine speed of 10,000rpm.

Lamborghini will unveil the Lanzador, its first electric vehicle, by 2028 and a second-generation all-electric Urus by 2029. Besides, the company has confirmed that the Revuelto's production will continue until the early 2030s.

Powering the Lamborghini Huracan STO SC 10° Anniversario is a 5.2-litre V10 engine that belts out 622bhp and 565Nm of peak torque.

Lamborghini will roll out the brand-new Revuelto with plug-in hybrid technology in India in December 2023, according to some reports. Expect it to cost around Rs 10 crore (ex-showroom).
