Kimi Raikkonen is a legendary personality in Formula One racing. He earned the nickname "Ice Man" due to his no-nonsense demeanour. Bonhams Cars just revealed that the legendary MP4-21 that Raikkonen ditched at Monaco in 2006 after its heat shield caught fire will be sold at auction.

Monaco's Charles Leclerc will become the 110th driver to race for the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 team when he will replace Kimi Raikkonen at the end of the current F1 season.

Kimi Raikkonen, the last driver to win a drivers' championship for Ferrari, will leave the team at the end of the current season to join Alfa Romeo Sauber F1, the team with which he made his Formula 1 debut in 2001. He has signed to race for Sauber for the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

And they succeeded in grand style to win a thrilling race at Monza.

Ferrari and Mercedes slugged it out for pole position at the fastest racetrack on the Formula 1 calendar. Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen led home teammate Sebastian Vettel to score a front-row lockout for the Italian squad in qualifying at Monza for the Italian Grand Prix.

An opening lap incident involving Kimi Raikkonen and Lewis Hamilton and two crash-induced safety car periods led to a thrilling climax for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, which was won by former four-time F1 champion Sebastian Vettel.

After the result in the opening round of the season in Australia was seen as a bit of an anomaly, Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari can claim to have given Mercedes AMG F1 and defending champion Lewis Hamilton a proper fight and come out on top.
