Kia Syros Surpasses 20,000 Bookings; Top Variants Account for 46% of Demand
Petrol variants make up 67% of Kia Syros bookings, with diesel models accounting for 33%. Automatic transmission variants represent over 38% of bookings.

The brand-new Kia Syros has amassed over 20,163 orders in India, driven by strong demand for petrol variants, which account for 67% of sales. Diesel models, on the other hand, make up 33% of customer preferences. Kia states that buyers are showing a strong inclination towards upscale features, with nearly half (46%) opting for the higher trim levels. As for colours, Glacier White Pearl is the most popular option, making up 32% of all bookings, followed by Aurora Black Pearl and Frost Blue, which account for 26% and 20% of orders, respectively. The Kia Syros compact SUV is priced from Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base HTK petrol-manual variant, going up to Rs 17.80 lakh for the fully-loaded diesel-AT variant with ADAS.

Kia Syros: Engine
Kia offers two engine options for the Syros: a 1.0-litre turbo petrol three-cylinder with 118bhp and 172Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel four-cylinder with 114bhp and 250Nm. A 6-speed manual is standard across the Kia Syros range, but the automatic options differ. The petrol model gets a 7-speed DCT, while the diesel utilises a 6-speed torque converter.
Kia Syros: Features
The Kia Syros is equipped with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, ambient lighting, and ventilated seats. Other highlights include a powered driver's seat, a panoramic sunroof, and second-row seats that recline and slide, complemented by a centre armrest and 60:40 split-folding functionality.

For safety, the Syros has parking sensors, electronic stability control, six airbags, Level 2 ADAS, and a 360-degree camera.
