Due to a possible chassis fault, TVS has recalled its iQube electric scooters, specifically manufactured between July 10, 2023, and September 9, 2023.

TVS has begun commencing deliveries of the top-end iQube ST variant which will take place in a phased manner across India.

Among all the electric scooters currently on the market, the ST is the highest-spec variant in the 2024 TVS iQube range and has the largest battery capacity (5.1kWh). 

The TVS iQube is now available with 2.2 kWh, 3.4 kWh, and a robust 5.1 kWh battery pack options, starting at Rs 84,999 (ex-showroom).

TVS already has a market presence in more than 80 countries across Latin America, Asia, and Africa. It is now set to enter Italy and launch select products in both ICE and EV segments.

A new entry-level variant of the iQube electric scooter is now available in India for Rs 94,999 (introductory, ex-showroom). It has a smaller 2.2 kWh battery pack and 0-80% charging time of 2 hours.

From 12,169 units sold in January 2023 to 16,276 units last month, the sales of TVS electric vehicles saw a considerable surge of 34 per cent. The brand currently has two battery-powered products in its portfolio – iQube and X.

TVS Motor Company has partnered with famous Swiss distributor Emil Frey to distribute its products in European markets. Although the partnership's specifics are under wraps, France is expected to be the first market to get TVS products.

TVS Motor Company revealed that in October 2023, the firm saw its highest-ever monthly sales, with a 21 per cent increase in overall dispatches at 4,34,714 units. It further stated that 3,60,288 units were sold in October of 2022.
