Between January and June 2023, Lamborghini exported a total of 5,341 units across the globe, which is a 4.9 per cent increase over the corresponding period of last year. The jump in sales is linked to the growing demand for the Huracan and the high-performance Urus. With 2,285 vehicles shipped, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa made up the largest market for the Italian luxury carmaker in the first half of 2023. Next was America with 1,857 units sold, followed by Asia Pacific where the company exported 1,199 cars. And this positive customer acceptance hints at record results by year-end in all key financial metrics, according to Lamborghini.

Lamborghini also reported that its revenue climbed by 6.7 per cent to €1.42 billion in the first half of this year, as compared to the same period last year. Whereas, its operating income rose by 7.2 per cent to €456 million, denoting a 32.1 per cent improvement in return on sales.

In the case of individual markets, the United States is by far the Italian company's largest market, led by strong sales of 1,625 units. Next is the United Kingdom with 514 cars delivered, followed by Germany taking deliveries of 511 units, the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Macau 450, Japan 280, and Italy 270 units.

Lamborghini Urus, Huracan Sold Out Until 2024

The Lamborghini Urus and the brand's second best-selling model – the Huracan – are no longer available for purchase, as they have been fully sold out until 2024. From 2024 onwards, the V10-powered Huracan will no longer be produced by Lamborghini. In the Huracan's place, the manufacturer is evaluating the plug-in hybrid version, and the speculations are rife that the new car will use a V8 turbocharged engine for its internal-combustion component. The Urus, on the other hand, will mark its return in the first half of 2024 and adopt a plug-in hybrid powertrain setup.

Lamborghini Revuelto Sold Out Until 2026

Moreover, the brand's newest flagship supercar – the Revuelto – is also in high demand. In recent news, the Italian sports car company announced that the supercar has been fully sold out until 2026. The Revuelto made its public appearance in March 2023 as a replacement model for the Aventador, and it is the company's first car to be offered with a plug-in hybrid powertrain as part of Lamborghini's plan to introduce hybrid tech across all the models by late 2024.

Those who have already placed an order for the new Aventador successor will have to wait for about 3 years to take its delivery, while those who are mulling over buying the same may have to wait a bit more. With the Revuelto, you get a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine, which is touted as the most powerful engine the sports carmaker has ever made. Combined with three electric motors, the Revuelto makes a maximum output of 1000bhp.
