Ross Branch delivered some of his finest career performances this season with Hero Motosports, starting with a landmark second-place finish at the 2024 Dakar Rally.

In the Bikes category of the 48-Hour Chrono Stage, Adrien Van Beveren from Honda emerged victorious in stage six. However, Hero's Joan Barreda Bort was forced to retire from the race on the second day due to mechanical problems.

Despite Hero's best efforts, Honda maintained their lead in the fifth stage of the 2024 Dakar Rally. However, Ross Branch has regained first place in the overall standings and is now ahead by a mere fourteen seconds.

Ross Branch of Hero MotoSports won the inaugural stage of the Dakar Rally, a perfect reward for helping teammate Joaquim Rodrigues after he was involved in an accident.

Hero MotoSports has announced the signing of Spanish rider Joan Barreda Bort in preparation for the 2024 Dakar Rally in January. The announcement follows the recent announcement of cooperation between Hero MotoSports and Monster Energy.

Hero MotoSports will be fielding three riders at Dakar 2021 – Joaquim Rodrigues, CS Santosh and Sebastian Buhler. The team has also revealed the new Hero 450 Rally bike, featuring an all-new engine and other modifications. 

Stage 8 of the 2020 Dakar Rally proved to be a challenging one, especially for the stage openers (Cars category) as there were no bike tracks to follow (Stage 8 had stood cancelled for the Bikes & Quads categories following the tragic demise of Hero MotoSports rider Paulo Goncalves on Sunday).

The 2020 Dakar Rally proceedings took a dark & tragic turn as Hero MotoSports rider Paulo Goncalves lost his life after a tragic accident during Stage 7 on Sunday. He is the first competitor to have died contesting the Dakar since Michal Hernik in 2015.

Stage 5 of the 2020 Dakar Rally ran from the city of Al-ʿUla to Ha’il, switching over to more open sandy terrain as compared to the earlier rocky surface. Sherco-TVS riders Adrien Metge, Lorenzo Santolino, and Johnny Aubert continued to chase the overall top-10 with strong top-20 stage finishes

Stage 4 of the Dakar Rally 2020 ran from the city of Neom to Al-ʿUla. The 672km stage (453km Special Stage) witnessed plenty of action and Indian rally outfits showed steady progress. In the overall rankings (Bikes), Monster Energy Honda is slowly emerging as a force to be reckoned with.
