Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9e Register Bookings of Rs 8,472 Crores on Day 1, Surpassing 30,000 Orders
Mahindra provides identical battery options for the BE 6 and XEV 9e electric SUVs, equipped with rear-wheel drive. Both models come loaded with premium comfort and advanced tech features.

Mahindra's electric SUVs, the BE 6 and XEV 9e, are flying off the shelves, with an impressive 30,179 bookings registered on the very first day. This strong demand translates to an estimated Rs 8,472 crore in ex-showroom sales. The XEV 9e captured 56% of the bookings, while the BE 6 accounted for 44%. The 'Pack Three' variant, equipped with a 79kWh battery, emerged as the most popular choice across both models. Notably, the SUVs are available for booking with a refundable token payment of Rs 21,000 at authorized dealerships or via Mahindra's official website. Deliveries for the Pack Three variants are slated to start by mid-March 2025, followed by the Pack Two and Pack One models in July and August, respectively. Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9e: Battery and Range
Mahindra provides identical battery options for the BE 6 and XEV 9e electric SUVs, equipped with rear-wheel drive. The smaller 59kWh battery produces 228bhp of peak power, while the larger 79kWh battery delivers 282bhp.

The BE 6 with the smaller battery offers a range of approximately 557 kilometres, while the XEV 9e provides 542 kilometres. Opting for the larger battery increases the range to 683 kilometres in the BE 6 and 656 kilometres in the XEV 9e. Both SUVs are driven by a single motor powering the rear wheels.
Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9e: Features
The BE 6 and XEV 9e electric SUVs come loaded with premium comfort and advanced tech features. The BE 6 boasts dual 12.3-inch screens, a visually appealing start-up light sequence, seven airbags, fabric upholstery, and adaptive cruise control. It also includes Level 2 ADAS, a top-tier 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, an AR-based head-up display, and rear AC vents to keep passengers comfortable.
The XEV 9e, on the other hand, enhances the experience with a striking triple-screen setup, wireless charging, and a stylish two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Infinity logo. The XEV 9e also features a panoramic glass roof, tyre pressure monitoring system, front parking sensors, an NFC key, and an electronically adjustable driver's seat. Other highlights include dual-zone climate control, two cupholders, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror.
Mahindra BE 6, XEV 9e: Prices
The Mahindra BE 6 is priced between Rs 18.90 lakh and Rs 26.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes in five variants. The XEV 9e, available in four variants, is priced between Rs 21.90 lakh and Rs 30.50 lakh.

For charging, buyers can choose between a 7.2kWh charger priced at Rs 50,000 or a more powerful 11.2kWh charger for Rs 75,000.
