The Ford Everest Sport gets cosmetic upgrades with black treatment to the exterior and interior. The Everest is sold in India as the Endeavour. 

With the Everest ageing quickly, Ford has given some cosmetic updates to the exterior and interior and unveiled it with a ‘Sport’ suffix. The Endeavour that is sold in India, is effectively the Everest that is sold in the ASEAN and Australian markets.

Coming to the changes on this Everest Sport, it gets a complete black treatment – both, on the outside and inside. All the chrome bits on the standard Everest have been given the matte-black treatment on the Everest Sport. Upfront, it gets a newly designed black mesh grille that gives it a bolder and sportier face. While the standard Everest gets brushed aluminium casing for the fog lamps which stretch across the bumper, in this sport trim it has been washed in black too. The Everest Sport also gets gloss black 20-inch alloy wheels. Continuing with the sporty theme, the interior also gets some black accents and minor tweaks. The SUV also gets unique badging upfront and along the sides.

All other aspects of the car remain largely unchanged. The Everest, just like the Endeavour, is offered with two engine variants – 2.2-litre and 3.2-litre diesel. The former comes paired with a manual transmission as well as an automatic. The top-spec 3.2-litre option only gets an automatic transmission.

In India, the Ford Endeavour is priced between Rs 28.20 lakh and Rs 33.70 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). There is no news of Ford bringing the Endeavour in this trim to India, but given the way sales of the SUV have stagnated, it would be a wise move.
