In the Saudi Arabian round of the Formula 2 championship, India's Jehan Daruvala swept to a double podium finish. The 24-year-old, who races for the Dutch team MP Motorsport, had climbed from fifth to third place after a hard-fought victory in Saturday's Sprint Race.

23-year-old Red Bull Junior and Prema Racing driver Jehan Daruvala secured a second-place finish in the Sprint Race in Imola, Round Three of the 2022 FIA Formula 2 championship. He is currently the only driver on the F2 grid to have secured a podium finish in all three rounds so far.

India’s best Formula 1 prospect and ace racer Jehan Daruvala has been signed by Red Bull Racing Formula One Team for their Junior Program. While this in itself is big news, it doesn’t end there. Daruvala has also been confirmed for the 2020 Formula 2 (F2) Championship.
