The BMW iX1 went on sale in India for Rs 66.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes in a single xDrive30 M Sport trim. The carmaker has confirmed that the electric SUV was completely sold out in India for the remainder of the year, just a few hours after the bookings for the model commenced.

In the Indian market, the BMW iX1 is available in the top-end xDrive30 spec, carrying a price tag of Rs 66.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It rivals the Mercedes-Benz EQB, the Volvo C40 Recharge, the Kia EV6, and the Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV.

The electric derivative of the X1 – the iX1 – has been launched in the Indian market. Available in a single trim, it is priced at Rs 66.90 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price point, the new model takes on the Mercedes-Benz EQB, the Volvo C40 Recharge, the Kia EV6, and the Hyundai Ioniq 5.

The iX1 electric SUV will be launched in India on September 28, according to BMW. The iX1 is an all-electric variant of the BMW X1. It looks to be the same as the ICE version, with a few tweaks. The EV comes equipped with a dual-motor setup that produces 313bhp and 494Nm.
