Yamaha Motor has launched the 2025 FZ-S Fi Hybrid, its first hybrid bike for the Indian market. First showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in January, this innovative two-wheeler is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). The "Hybrid" technology is powered by a Smart Motor Generator (SMG), delivering battery-assisted acceleration and a small performance boost. Beyond its hybrid technology, Yamaha has equipped the 2025 FZ-S Fi Hybrid with several new features, including a TFT instrument cluster with smartphone connectivity, enhancing both convenience and modern appeal.

2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi Hybrid: What's New?
Yamaha's 2025 FZ-S Fi Hybrid is built for daily commuters. The repositioned handlebar and switchgear offer better control. Integrated turn indicators within the faux air intakes add a stylish touch.
The bike features a 4.2-inch full-colour TFT instrument cluster for a modern riding experience. Smartphone connectivity via the Y-Connect app enables turn-by-turn navigation with Google Maps, providing real-time directions, intersection previews, and road name displays.

At its core, the 2025 FZ-S Fi Hybrid has a 149cc Blue Core engine, now OBD2B compliant for better efficiency. Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) ensures quiet starts and adds a battery boost during acceleration. The Stop & Start System (SSS) reduces fuel use by managing engine idling, restarting the engine with a simple clutch engagement. These features create a smooth and fuel-efficient ride.
