Honda has launched a refreshed version of the Shine 100, now updated to comply with the latest OBD2B emission norms. With an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 68,767, the 2025 model receives minor design refinements. This commuter motorcycle is available in a single variant and can be had in five paint jobs (Black with Red, Black with Blue, Black with Orange, Black with Grey, and Black with Green).

New Honda Shine 100: Styling Tweaks
The revamped Shine 100 showcases a fresh and refined design, drawing inspiration from the popular Shine 125. It sports newly crafted body graphics alongside the iconic Honda emblem, enhancing its visual appeal.

Notable styling elements include a sculpted front cowl, black-finished alloy wheels, a sturdy aluminium grab rail, an extended single-piece seat, and a sleek, modern muffler. These design enhancements not only elevate the motorcycle’s aesthetics but also improve its practicality, making it an excellent companion for everyday commuting.
New Honda Shine 100: Engine and Suspension
Coming to the mechanical side of things, the Honda Shine 100 is powered by a 98.98cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine, now OBD2B-compliant to meet the latest emission regulations. This unit belts out 7.61bhp of maximum power at 7,500rpm and 8.04Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm, ensuring a smooth and efficient ride. It comes coupled to a four-speed gearbox.
Constructed on a lightweight diamond-type frame, the Shine 100 is fitted with telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers, providing enhanced stability across different terrains. To improve safety, the bike is equipped with drum brakes on both wheels, complemented by a Combined Braking System (CBS) for more controlled stopping power.
New Honda Shine 100: Features
On the feature front, the Shine 100 offers a side stand with an engine inhibitor, preventing the engine from starting when the side stand is engaged, adding an extra layer of safety. The bike also comes with a halogen headlamp, bulb-type turn indicators, and a twin-pod instrument cluster displaying essential information such as speed, odometer readings, and fuel level.
