<p>Suzuki Motorcycle India reported its highest-ever total monthly sales of 1,20,055 units, marking&nbsp;a year-over-year (YoY) growth of 19&nbsp;per cent in October&nbsp;2024 over the same period last fiscal. Last month's&nbsp;domestic sales accounted for&nbsp;1,04,940 units, while exports stood at 15,115 units.&nbsp;In comparison, the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation closed October 2023 with cumulative sales of 1,00,057&nbsp;units, while the domestic sales and exports totalled 84,302 and 16,205 units, respectively. 'This growth reflects our team’s hard work and the trust of our customers as they continue to ride a Suzuki two-wheeler. <h2>Suzuki&nbsp;GSX-8R Gets Sportbike Styling and Advanced Features</h2>

<p>Last month also saw&nbsp;Suzuki launch the GSX-8R&nbsp;middleweight sports bike in India. The&nbsp;GSX-8R blends practical real-world performance, rider-friendly controllability, and advanced&nbsp;features with cutting-edge sportbike styling, setting 'The New Standard of Sport'. The bike comes in&nbsp;three colour ways: Metallic Matte Sword Silver, Metallic Triton Blue,&nbsp;and Metallic Matte Black No.2 at all Suzuki Bike Zones across the country.</p>

<p>Powering the GSX-8R is&nbsp;a 776cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that develops 81.8bhp at 8,500rpm and 78Nm of peak torque at 6,800rpm. The engine also sends power to the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE and is mated to a 6-speed gearbox, accompanied by an assist-and-slipper clutch. Also available is a 2-in-1 exhaust system.&nbsp;</p>

Suzuki Motorcycle India Reports Highest-ever Monthly Sales in October 2024 at 1,20,055 Units

Suzuki delivered 1,04,940 two-wheelers to Indian buyers last month, recording its highest-ever monthly sales, against 1,00,057 units in the year-ago period.

<p><a href="https://www.autox.com/new-bikes/oben-electric/">Oben Electric</a>, the&nbsp;Bengaluru-based two-wheeler startup, has started delivering its Rorr electric motorcycle in Pune, offering the first 100 customers a special discount. For early buyers in the city, the e-bike is available for purchase at&nbsp;Rs 1.29 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom), which is Rs 21,000 less than its standard price of Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Notably, the&nbsp;Rorr is the brand's only model currently on sale in the country. In addition to providing the&nbsp;customers with servicing and spare part assistance, the new Pune showroom doubles as an Oben Care service centre.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Oben Rorr Electric Bike: Spec Details</h2>

<p>On the mechanical front, the Oben Rorr features a 4.4kWh battery and an 8kW IPMSM motor, providing an IDC range of 187 km&nbsp;on a single charge.&nbsp;Its LFP cell technology guarantees better heat resistance and a longer battery life.&nbsp;The only way to charge the battery is via a 15Amp plug, which requires a 15Amp socket. It takes two hours for the bike to charge fully. The top speed of the model stands at 100km/h.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Oben Rorr Electric Bike: Features</h2>

<p>The Oben Rorr sports&nbsp;a neo-classic design. It is connected to&nbsp;an app,&nbsp;providing important&nbsp;information&nbsp;such as ride details, battery status, geo-fencing, geo-tagging, battery theft protection, on-demand service, charging station locator, and roadside assistance.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>By the end of the year, Oben Electric intends to open six more showrooms and service locations in&nbsp;Pune. Moreover,&nbsp;the company plans&nbsp;to set up&nbsp;50 showrooms and service centres&nbsp;across&nbsp;12 Indian cities. In addition to entering the Kerala market with dealerships in Kochi and Trivandrum, the EV maker&nbsp;has already launched three more&nbsp;showrooms in Bengaluru.</p>


Oben Rorr Electric Bike Launched in Pune, Special Discount for First 100 Customers

While that deadline is fast approaching, Bajaj has dropped a teaser video revealing a couple of things. The teaser confirms the previous reports around the possibility of a blue toggle switch on the left-side switch cube. This will be used to switch between the petrol and CNG modes.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Based on previous spy shots, the upcoming CNG bike will have a circular&nbsp;LED headlight,&nbsp;bulb indicators,&nbsp;a small front cowl, knuckle guards, a sleek taillamp (could be an LED unit), and new&nbsp;5-spoke alloy wheels. The riding position on the bike will be&nbsp;a combination of mid-set footpegs, a long, single-piece seat, and a braced handlebar with handguards. Other expected bits include an upswept exhaust, a compact engine guard, and grab rails.&nbsp;</p>
