The Czech carmaker has introduced new petrol & diesel versions of the new 2021 Octavia RS. The new petrol Octavia RS is powered by a 2.0-litre TSI motor, whereas the diesel version gets a TDI motor of the same capacity (2.0-litre) that generates 197bhp and 400Nm.

For the first time, the Skoda Octavia RS will feature a plug-in hybrid powertrain. Although this new-generation model continues to make 242bhp, torque rating has improved to 400Nm.

The 2020 Skoda Octavia has finally made its debut after quite a long teaser campaign and the end result certainly seems to be worth the wait. The 2020 Octavia is 19mm (4,689mm) longer & 15mm (1,829mm) wider than the outgoing model. The wheelbase at 2,686mm remains unchanged.

Skoda recently gave us a glimpse of the all-new fourth-gen Octavia's look via some design sketches. Now, building up to the car's global debut in Prague on 11th November, the Czech carmaker has revealed a major chunk of the car's powertrain & featural details.

The 2020 Octavia, much like all new Skoda models, is expected to get aggressive styling. The split headlamp design, that came into effect with the 2017 facelift version in India, will be replaced by single housing units that join a bigger butterfly grille.
