Zenvo Aurora Hypercar Debuts with 1,850 Horsepower Quad-Turbo V-12 Hybrid Powertrain
The Aurora is a new hypercar from Danish automaker Zenvo. There will be two Aurora models available: Agil and Tur. The former is a track-focused model, while the latter is a grand-touring variant.

Zenvo Automotive A/S, a Danish supercar manufacturer, has unveiled a new hypercar named Aurora. The Tur and Agil are two variants of the Zenvo vehicle, which rides on lightweight forged wheels. The former is a grand touring variant, while the latter is a model that is track-focused. The Aurora, named after the Aurora Borealis, is reportedly the lightest and most potent road vehicle Zenvo has ever created. It is constructed on a carbon fibre monocoque chassis and has a dry weight of less than 3197 pounds (1450kg). According to the Danish automaker, only 50 of each Aurora model will be produced, with the manufacturing beginning in 2025, followed by deliveries in 2026. Let's know in detail about this newly revealed model for the international market.

Zenvo Aurora: Powertrain & Range
Propelling the new Zenvo model is a 6.6-litre quad-turbocharged V12 engine created by Mahle Powertrain. This motor claims a maximum output of 1233bhp and a top rev limit of 9,800rpm. It is mid-mounted in the new model and is mated to a single electric motor in the Agil variant to deliver a power of about 1430bhp. In the Agil, the drive is solely supplied to the rear wheels thanks to an electronic differential which is connected to a 7-speed gearbox. The all-wheel drive Tur variant, on the other hand, gets two extra electric motors, which brings its total output to 1,825bhp and 1,700Nm.
The compact Agil variant weighs under 1,300kg and has 879.9kg of downforce at a speed of 249 km/h. This version accelerates to 100 km/h from zero in just 2.5 seconds and has a top speed of 365 km/h. In comparison, the Tur model weighs slightly more (1,450kg) due to the addition of two additional electric motors that enable an all-wheel-drive system. The top speed of this variant is 450 km/h.
Zenvo Aurora: Design
Zenvo's lead designer, Christian Brandt, claimed to follow the traditional Danish philosophy while focusing on simplicity in terms of design. The Aurora's chassis and other parts, according to the automaker, are engineering marvels in both variants, with the carbon monocoque making up about 70% of the exterior. In its official statement, Christian Brandt shared that ''At Zenvo, we have some very clear design cues, which are carried forward with Aurora, and the new design language pushes the limits of what we could do with the packaging and aerodynamics. We have also been very focused on ensuring that we kept things Danish – less is more, and very simplistic.'' The modular carbon monocoque called the ZM1, according to the brand, is less than 120 kg and offers Formula 1 levels of structural safety.
Lluc Marti, Chief Executive Officer of Managing Composites, said “With Aurora, everything is interacting with the central structure. The front and rear subframes are visible, and they are integrated into the main chassis, and all components are mounted to this – directly or indirectly – so everything is connected,”
He further added ''“Even the interior of Aurora is a very minimalist design, driven by functionality. With so much of the monocoque visible, it has meant a real drive to achieve perfection in terms of the quality of the work, so every surface is tactile and perfectly finished.''
