The Audi Q8 was launched back in 2019. It looked unique, featured high-end tech in a precision-built interior and was rather lovely to drive. Four years on, Audi India feels they can do one better. Thus, what we have with us is the new and improved 2024 Q8, with an updated design and new features.

The facelifted Audi Q8 SUV carries a starting price tag of Rs 1.17 crore. Meanwhile, the updated Mercedes-Benz GLS is offered in two variants: GLS 450 and GLS 450d, priced at Rs 1.32 crore and Rs 1.37 crore, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom.

Audi India is all set to launch the Q8 facelift in India tomorrow, 22 August. The India-spec Audi Q8 facelift will be driven by a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol V6 engine and a 48V mild-hybrid setup, producing 335bhp and 500Nm.

Interested customers can book the Audi Q8 facelift through Audi India's website or myAudi Connect for a token amount of Rs 5 lakh.

With a few design touches as well as new features, the new Audi Q8 will carry a premium over the current iteration (Rs 1.07 crore to Rs 1.43 crore, ex-showroom).
