The new Vantage Roadster is equipped with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine, generating 656bhp and 800Nm of torque. These gains are made possible by upgrading the turbochargers, refining the camshaft profiles, and optimising the compression ratio.

The vehicle features a 49:51 front-to-rear weight distribution, along with a double-wishbone front suspension and a multi-link rear setup. Braking performance is delivered by carbon ceramic brakes, with 410mm front discs and six-piston monoblock callipers, ensuring effective and reliable stopping power in high-demand conditions. The driving experience is enhanced by an electronically controlled rear differential and a non-isolated steering column.

It also offers eight adjustable traction control modes, giving drivers the ability to fine-tune the car’s performance for different road conditions. The roof features a Z-fold design that can open or close at speeds of up to 50km/h in just 6.8 seconds, making it the fastest automatic roof system available, according to Aston Martin. Notably, the roof can also be operated remotely with the key fob.

Aston Martin has unveiled the production version of the Valhalla Hypercar, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100km/h in just 2.5 seconds. Its top speed is electronically limited to 350 km/h.

No car has the right to look this good, this special, in a shade referred to as 'Storm Purple'.&nbsp;And yet the Aston Martin DB12 pulls it off with aplomb. Shaken, but not stirred. It really is that suave. I would still have mine in the racing green of Aston’s 1959 Le Mans winner, the DBR1, but I certainly wouldn’t turn down this aubergine either.

This is a car that feels expensive – that feels special. Absolutely everything in the cabin is wrapped in hand-stitched leather. And now, with an all-new cabin, it’s also cutting edge, with touchscreens and a 15-speaker Bowers and Wilkins audio system. Not that you need anything other than the guttural roar from that AMG-sourced 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 that produces an almost incomprehensible 671 horsepower. Well, incomprehensible, until you push it on track, and then you soon realise that this isn’t just a pretty face – this is a really serious performance car.&nbsp;

Sure, it's more of a grand tourer rather than a track car, but like all Astons, the chassis balance is perfect. It just feels right when pushed to the limit. The power, of course, is immense, but the handling is neutral so you can put its prodigious punch to good use. And you never really feel the weight – until you hit the brakes that is, because of the sheer momentum you’re able to instantly generate with just a prod of the throttle.&nbsp;

All told, this Aston was just a couple of tenths off the Ferrari, which is pretty impressive. Yes, the <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/ferrari/">Ferrari</a> always felt that little bit racier, but the Aston doesn’t disguise the fact that it’s a bruiser through-and-through. This is the kind of car that makes you want to get in and drive till you run out of road – and then turn around and do it all over again.&nbsp;

It’s a jaw droppingly beautiful machine, and it’s a shame that so few will experience it because of how rare and expensive it is. If you have to ask how much it costs, you simply can’t afford it. It’s ₹4.59 crore starting, by the way. But, again, just look at it – it’s worth every penny!

Similar to the original model, the DB12 Goldfinger Edition sports the famous Silver Birch exterior colour scheme. It has silver 21-inch wheels, black brake calipers, gold side strakes,&nbsp;and a distinctive Aston Martin insignia etched in silver and black enamel.

Inside, the super tourer features&nbsp;leather sports seats&nbsp;finished in the traditional DB5 fluted style and&nbsp;the Prince of Wales check perforation pattern.&nbsp;The treadplates, headliner, and door inserts all have the same design.&nbsp;According to Aston Martin, this is a reference&nbsp;to the iconic suit design of James Bond. The Bond model also gets 'eight of hearts' embossed on the driver's sun visor,&nbsp;a nod to the playing card&nbsp;used in the final poolside draw&nbsp;scene filmed in Miami.

Under the hood, the model packs a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 662bhp at&nbsp;6000rpm and 799Nm at 2750-6000rpm.

Although the pricing of this exclusive model is currently under wraps,&nbsp;Aston Martin states that the lucky 60 buyers&nbsp;of the vehicle will receive a variety of gifts, including a Silver Birch Speedform model,&nbsp;a premium key presentation box, and a personalised car cover,&nbsp;a 35mm film clip of Goldfinger's famous Furka Pass scene,&nbsp;as well as a 1/60 platinum special edition Aston Martin magazine. The hand-built 4.0-litre&nbsp;twin-turbo V8 engine powering the new Vantage has undergone significant modifications to produce 665bhp&nbsp;and 800Nm of peak&nbsp;torque.&nbsp;The eight-speed ZF automatic gearbox&nbsp;mated to the V8 engine, uses an electromechanical limited-slip differential to&nbsp;propel&nbsp;the rear wheels. Acceleration is further enhanced by reducing the transmission's final-drive ratio.

The engine's output, which is 152bhp&nbsp;and 115Nm more than its predecessor, is the most substantial increase in engine output yet. According to Aston Martin, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in only 3.4 seconds, with a top speed of 325km/h. This is faster than the previous V8 model, which could only attain&nbsp;a peak&nbsp;speed of 313km/h and required an additional half-second to reach 100km/h.

Additionally, the carmaker&nbsp;claims that changes have been made to the car's electronic power steering, launch control system, and multiple traction-management modes to enhance both performance and driver involvement.&nbsp;A braking system consisting of front 400mm steel rotors with six-piston callipers and rear 360mm rotors with four-piston callipers brings&nbsp;the model&nbsp;to a standstill.&nbsp;Carbon ceramics are optional.
