Right now, it is unclear if the Kia EV3 will make it to the Indian shores. However, if it does, the Volkswagen Taigun, the Hyundai Creta, the Skoda Kushaq, and the Kia Seltos will be among its rivals in the segment. 

Unlike the EV9, the Kia EV3 is available only with a front-wheel drive electric powertrain. The EV3 will initially go on sale in South Korea, with other markets to follow.

The interior of the new Kia EV3 follows the design direction laid down by other newer Kia electric vehicles, albeit with minimalism.

On May 23, the wraps will come off the new Kia EV3 Compact Electric SUV, which is expected to be built on the familiar Hyundai Motor Group's E-GMP platform.
