Triumph has introduced its new adventure-touring motorcycle, the Tiger Sport 800. Powered by a 798cc inline-three engine, it delivers 115bhp and 84Nm of torque. Although this engine is new, it shares some components with Triumph's 765cc engine. The Tiger Sport 800 has a side-mounted silencer, unlike the underbelly exhaust on the Tiger Sport 660. It also features a 6-speed gearbox with a bidirectional quick shifter and a slipper clutch assist for smooth gear changes.
Triumph Motorcycles’ Chief Product Officer Steve Sargent said: ‘At the heart of the Tiger Sport 800 is a new three-cylinder engine which delivers the power and excitement that riders want, whether tackling the daily commute through the city streets or enjoying a weekend blast on a winding rural road.

Tiger Sport 800: Key Features and Design
This model is extremely similar to the smaller Tiger Sport 660 in terms of styling and tyre size. The bike comes with Showa suspension, offering 150mm of travel and a fully adjustable 41mm upside-down fork. For braking, it uses 310mm twin discs and four-piston callipers. Long-distance comfort is ensured with an adjustable windscreen, built-in air deflectors, and an 835 mm seat height. Its road-focused design is reinforced by 17-inch wheels with Michelin Road 5 tyres. With a fuel tank capacity of 18.6 litres, this bike is designed for weekend touring.

The Tiger Sport 800 is packed with modern tech, including a six-axis IMU that provides cornering ABS and traction control. Riders can choose from three riding modes: Road, Rain, and Sport. Other standard features include cruise control and a TFT display with Bluetooth, offering navigation and smartphone connectivity.
Available in grey, yellow, blue, and black, the Tiger Sport 800 will launch internationally in March 2025.
