Formula E: Maserati MSG Racing Commits to GEN4 Cars
Maserati has officially joined the list of manufacturers committed to the Gen4 Formula E ruleset, which will commence at the end of 2026.
Maserati has confirmed its participation in Formula E through the Gen4 era until at least 2030. The Italian luxury brand will transition from the Gen3 car to the Gen4 model in 2026, marking a significant step forward in its electric racing journey. The Gen4 era, spanning Seasons 13 to 16, promises even more exciting competition and technological advancements. Maserati's recent successes in Season 10, including two victories secured by Maximilian Günther at the Jakarta E-Prix 2023 and the Tokyo E-Prix 2024, have further solidified its commitment to the series.

Formula E GEN3 EVO Car
Starting in Season 11, Formula E will feature the GEN3 EVO, an upgraded version of the Gen3 car. The GEN3 EVO offers significant performance improvements, including a power output of up to 350kW, four-wheel drive activation, and energy recovery of up to 600kW. This powerful configuration enables the GEN3 EVO to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 1.82 seconds.
The future of Formula E is even more exciting with the upcoming GEN4 cars. These next-generation vehicles will feature full-time four-wheel drive and increased power, promising even faster and more thrilling races.
