F1: Lewis Hamilton Flaunts Ferrari Red Overalls for the First Time
Ferrari has not yet announced a date for Hamilton’s debut in red overalls, but the team’s 2025 car will be revealed in Maranello on February 19.
Lewis Hamilton has officially joined Ferrari for the 2025 Formula 1 season, marking the end of his successful 12-year career with Mercedes. The seven-time world champion shared a photo of himself in Ferrari’s red, signalling the start of his new chapter with the Scuderia. Hamilton visited Ferrari’s Maranello headquarters this week and will soon begin test drives at the Fiorano circuit ahead of the season opener at the Australian Grand Prix in March.
This transfer is one of the most significant in F1 history, as Hamilton aims to win an eighth world championship with Ferrari. This would end Ferrari's 15-year title drought and surpass Michael Schumacher’s record of seven titles. At 40 years old, Hamilton remains determined to achieve greatness, and his move to Ferrari adds excitement to the 2025 season.
F1: Big Change for Hamilton
Lewis Hamilton begins a key chapter in his career as he joins Ferrari for the 2025 Formula 1 season. Success in this transition depends on adapting to Ferrari’s car and building strong relationships with his engineering team. These factors will be essential for a competitive start with the Scuderia.

Hamilton has a history of successfully navigating career moves, such as his shift from McLaren to Mercedes in 2013. Ferrari, now ready to compete for top positions, finished just 13 points behind McLaren in the 2024 Constructors' Championship.
Despite two wins, 2024 was Hamilton’s least competitive season, with qualifying performance being a weak point. Improving his one-lap pace will be key to his success in 2025.
