Yokohama India has launched new 19-inch tyres for luxury SUVs, manufactured at its Bahadurgarh facility in Haryana. Using a "glocal" approach that combines global technology with adaptations for Indian driving conditions, the tyres address the growing demand in the luxury SUV market, which according to the manufacturer recorded a 34 per cent year-on-year growth in FY24. The tyres are part of Yokohama India's 'Geolandar' range, which includes options for Mud-Terrain, Extreme All-Terrain, All-Terrain, and Highway Terrain. The new addition expands the Geolandar X-CV line and is available through over 3,000 retailers nationwide. The locally produced tyres reflect Yokohama India's focus on meeting the specific needs of the Indian market.
