Mahindra & Mahindra has confirmed that it will increase the prices of its passenger and commercial vehicles from January 2024 in response to inflation and rising commodity prices. The company has emphasised that it has made a concerted effort to absorb a substantial portion of the increased expenses. Despite these efforts, a portion of the increased costs will be passed along to customers to maintain the financial sustainability of the company and to ensure uninterrupted operation. In an official statement, the company said, ‘While we have endeavoured to shield our customers from the full brunt of rising costs, it is imperative for us to make this adjustment to ensure the continued delivery of quality vehicles and services.’ Notably, the upcoming price increase will not be uniform throughout the company's line-up and will vary depending on the model.
