Apollo Tyres has introduced the Pinza AT off-road tyres for SUVs in India. The new tyres, developed at the company's Vadodara and Andhra Pradesh factories, are rigorously tested under several climatic and weather conditions across the nation. This made-in-India product targets high-end SUVs from manufacturers like Jeep, JLR, Mercedes, Toyota, and Volvo. They are available in three sizes: 17, 18, and 20 inches. The brand will introduce the 16-inch tyres later in the market. According to Apollo, these tyres are manufactured following a thorough investigation of the behaviours and preferences of SUV drivers. The new tyres, according to the firm, contain high-tensile steel material, which is self-cleaning and resistant to cuts and chips. The prices of these tyres have not been revealed by the firm yet. However, the company has revealed that these off-road tyres will be exported to other countries.
The new Pinza AT off-road tyres sports a jagged-edge shoulder design, which gives it a rugged appearance and high functionality in mud, sand, and snow. Moreover, these tyres come with a fifth-generation polymer blend, which offers wet weather stability. According to Apollo, the name Vredestein Pinza, which has Italian ancestry, stands for strength, grip, precision, and power. The all-new Vredestein Pinza AT tyres have an aggressive styling that offers optimum performance for SUV drivers. These tyres, according to the firm, deliver exceptional toughness and capability needed the off-road driving.

Features-wise, the Pinza AT tyres get a wide tread pattern, enhanced tread stiffness, and four herringbone grooves. The three-ply triplex enclosure and stone ejectors provide increased durability and a shield against damage from the outside. The new tyres come with Silent Groove and multi-pitch technology, which helps in noise-free operation.
