Volvo is offering amazing festive discounts on a number of its models. The XC60 and XC40 Recharge are available at a significant discount of up to Rs 6.95 lakh. The Volvo XC60 is currently available for Rs 60.90 lakh (all prices ex-showroom) after a flat cash discount of Rs 6.95 lakh. In contrast, the Volvo XC40 Recharge comes with a complimentary three-year service and warranty package and a monetary saving of Rs 1.78 lakh. However, it is imperative to note that the offers are valid for a limited time only. Volvo revealed that it experienced a 40% growth in sales within the first three quarters of 2023. During this period, the XC60 and the XC40 sold remarkably well. The XC60 accounted for almost 35% of total sales volume, while the all-electric XC40 Recharge constituted 24% of total sales. Volvo XC40 Recharge, XC60: Mechanical Specifications
The Volvo XC40 Recharge's mechanical components include of a 78kWh battery pack, a dual-motor, and an all-wheel-drive setup. This allows the electric SUV to produce 402bhp and 660Nm, with a stated range of 418 kilometre. The XC40 Recharge can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 4.9 seconds. The Volvo XC60, on the other hand, comes equipped with a 2-litre mild-hybrid turbo-petrol engine with 247bhp and 350Nm. The setup is connected to a 48-volt electric motor.
Volvo C40 Recharge Launched in India
In the month of September this year, Volvo introduced the eagerly-awaited C40 Recharge at an introductory price of Rs 61.25 lakh (ex-showroom). The vehicle is equipped with a 78kWh battery pack. Its 402bhpand 660Nm all-wheel drive (AWD) dual electric motor configuration enables acceleration from 0 to 100km/h in 4.7 seconds.
