TVS names Suresh Krishna as company Chairman

TVS & Sons Ltd Mr. have appointed Mr. Suresh Krishna as their new chairman with effect from March 18.

Mr Krishna takes over the running from Mr. R. Ramachandran and has vast experience in the industry, having previously presided ACMA and CII forums during the 80s. He is currently the chairman of Sundram Fasteners Ltd - a duty he will share with his new role.

The industrialist has also been recognised by various business organisations. He was awarded the Businessman of the Year in the year 1995 and the JRD Tata Corporate Leadership Award just five years later in 2000.

However, the biggest accolade he received was the ‘Padma Shri’ award for his excellent work in the field of Trade and Industry.
