For the month of June, TVS Motor Company, the Indian two-wheeler manufacturer, registered overall sales growth of 3 per cent. The company was able to sell 316,411 units in June 2023 as opposed to 308,501 units in June 2022. Additionally, the firm experienced a 4 per cent surge in two-wheeler sales during the same time period, selling 304,401 units in total by June 2023. In comparison, the brand sold 10,686 more products in the same period last year. For reference, here is a breakdown of sales by market segment. TVS sold 148,208 bikes in June 2023, up from 146,075 units in June 2022, a 2 per cent increase. However, scooter sales increased positively by 11%, from 109,878 units in June 2022 to 121,364 units in the same month this year. Sales of the brand's three-wheelers reached 12,010 units in June 2023, a 20 per cent increase over the same month the previous year.

TVS Motor Company: June 2023 Sales
The TVS iQube is the sole EV model available, and in June 2023, 14,462 units of e-scooters were sold, up from 4,667 units in the same month previous year. As a result, we can observe a notable rise of 102 per cent over the prior year. However, the firm also saw a decline in the sales of electric two-wheelers as a result of price increases brought on by the reduction in FAME II subsidies. In June 2023, the company's cumulative exports posted sales of 79,144 units, down from 114,449 units in June 2022. Sales of two-wheelers climbed by 7 per cent in the first quarter of this year, from 8.6 lakh units in the same month last year to 9.18 lakh units this year.
TVS iQube: Battery and Range
The 3.04kWh battery pack that powers the iQube S and the iQube each has a 100-kilometre driving range. The present battery pack with various trims, as well as the anticipated bigger (5.1kWh) battery pack with the new TVS iQube ST, employ an indigenous battery management system (BMS) and thermal management system. TVS iQube Loyalty Benefits Programme
Customers who reserved an iQube before May 20 this year are eligible for a loyalty benefits programme, according to the firm. For orders placed up to this time, the TVS iQube and the iQube S will be offered for Rs 1.16 lakh and Rs 1.29 lakh, respectively (both prices are for on-road, Delhi). Prior to May 20 of this year, buyers who bought a TVS iQube or the iQube S would be able to save around Rs 7,000 or Rs 9,000, depending on the model.
