TVS Motor Company has announced its sales figures for March 2023. Last month, the company sold 3.08 lakh units, representing a 3 per cent year-on-year increase. The sales of TVS's iQube electric scooter, on the other hand, stood out. In recent months, the TVS iQube has seen healthy sales growth, surpassing the one lakh mark. Moreover, the automaker has also expanded the network of stores for the iQube, which is currently offered across 200 touchpoints and 100 cities, in recognition of the e-scooter's growth potential. For the uninitiated, the zero-emission TVS, which comes in three variations (Standard, S, and ST), is priced at Rs 98,564 for the iQube Standard and at Rs 1,08,690 for the iQube S (on-road, Delhi). Both prices include the FAME and other state subsidies. A top-spec iQube ST variant with a range of 145 kilometre on a single charge has also been unveiled by TVS Motor, though the price for the same has not yet been revealed.

TVS iQube E-scooter: Sales Figures
Launched in January 2020, the iQube, the only electric vehicle produced by TVS, has seen strong sales in FY2023 with a total of 96,654 units sold. By the end of March 2023, it accounted for 89 per cent of all iQube sales in India. The firm had earlier set a goal of selling 100,000 units in FY2023, which it narrowly missed by 3,346 units. In May of last year, it received a set of thorough updates that improved its appeal to Indian buyers and increased demand. The updated TVS iQube was launched in the same month, and its sales have significantly increased since then. In fact, over the past five months, TVS has outperformed most of its rivals by selling more than 10,000 units of the iQube e-scooter each month. The iQube has reached the milestone of 1 lakh unit sales. Notably, 1,02,221 units of this electric scooter were sold over the course of the previous 15 months.
The rankings for electric two-wheelers show how well the iQube has performed on the market. In terms of retail sales, according to VAHAN data, in FY2023, 80,565 owners purchased the iQube, placing it in the top 20 manufacturers out of the 117 OEMs competing.
