Owing to this, there has been a consistent fluctuation in the new Toyota Hyryder's average waiting time in the past few months. The current waiting time for the CNG versions of the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder is up to 18 months. Buyers who booked the mild- and strong-hybrid (Neo Drive) variants will also have to wait up to 8 months and 12 months, respectively. In June this year, the model had a waiting period of up to 20 months, while in August and September, the wait time was up to 11 months and 16 months, respectively. Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder: Trim Levels and Colour Options
The SUV's ex-showroom starting price in India is Rs 10.86 lakh. The model is offered in the E, S, G, and V trim levels. Customers can select from seven monotone colour options and four dual-tone colour options, including Cafe White with Midnight Black, Sportin Red with Midnight Black, Enticing Silver with Midnight Black, Speedy Blue with Midnight Black, and Gaming Grey with Midnight Black.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder: Powertrain Options
The Toyota SUV's 1.5-litre TNGA Atkinson Cycle engine produces a maximum of 92bhp and 122Nm of torque and is mated to an eCVT transmission. The electric motor, which generates 79bhp and 141Nm of torque, together with the engine offers a combined power output of 114bhp. As per the automaker, the potent hybrid drivetrain offers a fuel efficiency of 27.97km/l. The battery powering the system is a 117.6V lithium-ion unit. A mild hybrid powertrain is also available for the Hyryder. It is powered by the same 1.5-litre K15C engine as the Brezza and the Ertiga. The six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox or the five-speed manual gearbox can both be used with the Neo Drive motor. It has a maximum output of 103bhp and a peak torque of 137Nm.

The popular Toyota SUV stands out in terms of design thanks to the stylish double-layer Daytime Running lights, which are integrated into the Crystal Acrylic grille. From the side, the car resembles an ordinary SUV, while the doors sport prominent Hybrid logos. At the back, it has slim C-shaped taillights with dual C-shaped LED components.
Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder: Interior and Features
The Toyota Hyryder's dashboard is identical to that of the Baleno and Glanza. The cabin of the powerful hybrid model has a Black and Brown theme, while the mild-hybrid variants come with an entirely Black interior. It comes standard with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, smartphone and smartwatch connectivity, ambient lighting, and paddle shifters. It also gets a heads-up display, wireless phone charging, and a panoramic sunroof.
In terms of safety, the SUV offers up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), vehicle stability control, other more.
